Rajeev Ahal

The Secretariat is headed by Rajeev Ahal, Executive Director. Rajeev has 38 years of experience in policy, strategy, and large-scale programme implementation across India, Africa, and the United States. Rajeev was the Director NRM & Agroecology at GIZ where he oversaw landmark initiatives including the Indo-German Agroecology Lighthouse Agreement, nationwide GIS based scale-out of MGNREGA and contributing to multiple national policies and programmes. He has worked closely with global institutions such as IFAD, World Bank, FAO etc; NITI Aayog, multiple ministries and state governments; public-private partnerships, triangular cooperations with African nations, CSOs and multi-stakeholder partnerships to drive systemic and scalable transformation.

Manab Chakraborty

Manab Chakraborty, PhD, Director is a freelance consultant specialising on international development projects. His core competency lies in project management, M&E, and organisation restructuring in livelihood, rural development, microfinance, and Natural resource management. He is a serial social entrepreneur, areas of interest are solid waste, agri value chain, health services, and financial inclusion.
